About Me
Caitlin Bradley
Hello! I am a missionary from Plymouth, England currently serving with YWAM Ships Kona. I was fortunate to grow up in a Christian home which sparked my journey into faith and discovering who God was. Although I had a good understanding of the Christian faith and what it meant to me, it wasn't until I started my DTS that this knowledge was transformed into a heartfelt understanding. During this time, I experienced many beautiful encounters with God, seeking his face, and discovering his plan for my life. This was truly life-changing for me, and I desire to see others across the world receive the revelation of the power of God and the beauty of walking in a relationship with him.
I completed my Discipleship Training School (DTS) in the summer of 2022 with YWAM Ships Kona and completed my outreach in Haiti. During that time, I felt a confirmation from God about my calling to missions. Since then, I have become passionate about reaching out to isolated people who have not yet heard the Gospel. I have been blessed to go to other nations, including Panama and Costa Rica, during my journey in missions, and I desire to be sent to many other nations during my life here on earth. The Lord has given me a heart for the nations, and I'm excited to partner with Him as I serve Him throughout my life to pursue the fulfilment of the Great Commission.
What is YWAM?
Youth With A Mission is an international Christian movement founded in 1960 with the vision to know God and to make Him known. YWAM is currently in over 180 countries with many ministries world wide with focus on Training, Evangelising and Mercy Ministry. As citizens of God’s kingdom, we are called to love, worship, and obey our Lord, to love and serve His body, the Church, and to love all peoples everywhere, which includes presenting the whole Gospel for the whole person throughout the whole world…
What am I currently doing?
Since completing my DTS, I have been serving with YWAM Ships in Kona to help reach and serve isolated communities. I feel blessed to be involved in multiple ministry areas, both locally in Kona and leading teams in other nations. Currently, I am leading the Mobilisation Student Communications department at Port YWAM. In this role, I get to pray, encourage and talk with people from all over the world who are interested in completing a DTS or a Bible school with us. Additionally, I am part of the April Encounter DTS staff team, where we work with young people to guide and support them in their spiritual growth and relationship with God. As we help them learn more about Him, we also get the chance to lead outreach teams to different nations around the world. I'm thrilled about the upcoming season and can't wait to see where God takes me to help build His kingdom.
